I am continually amazed at the things that Desiree is able to capture of our family as well as our children individually. Many of the shots that appear to be posed are not, however they are captured in a way that lends to that appearance for “picture perfect” family photo walls as well as letting her clients show their true “colors.” She has many times captured my children doing things that I would not necessarily be able to being their mum. She is like a fly on the wall, yet a great friend who is interested in capturing photographs that will enhance your life, not just her portfolio.

I never thought much of photography until I met Desiree. Her ability to capture and recreate the event is truly amazing. Recently, my daughter turned one and we decided to throw a big party for her with a jolly jump and all. The house was filled with over a hundred bright colored balloons, floating in the air and dancing along the floor. The day was awesome but as the hostess, you are so busy attending to the needs of your guests that you miss out on a lot of the activities and conversations. About three days after the party I received a package in the mail from Desiree with prints and a disk of over 100 photos. I quickly scanned over them admiring her work and was caught with so much emotion. She had truly captured the day! I spend many moments just viewing them again and again. I am so grateful for her and her work. I am her biggest fan and can’t wait to have more events so she can capture them giving me lasting memories.
